Details of the Moot Court Competition
The Legal Hollers Moot Court Competition 2024 is an exciting and prestigious event designed to provide law students with an immersive experience in legal argumentation and advocacy. It aims to simulate real-life courtroom proceedings, enabling participants to develop practical skills in research, drafting, and oral advocacy. This competition offers a unique platform for law students from across the country to showcase their legal knowledge, analytical skills, and advocacy abilities in a competitive and collaborative environment. The moot competition will focus on a complex legal issue, challenging participants to present compelling arguments before an esteemed panel of judges.
The Legal Hollers is organizing the competition, which will be held in virtual mode at The Legal Hollers, Lucknow, on January 6th and 7th, 2025. The event will be conducted virtually through Google Meet.
Eligibility
- The competition is open to law students currently enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate law programs across India and internationally.
- All students who are enrolled in a full-time 3-year LL.B. or 5-year integrated LL.B. program from institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India or equivalent authority are eligible to participate in the competition. Only one team per institution may register.
- In case of any ambiguity regarding eligibility or participation, the decision of the Organizers shall be final and binding

The moot court competition will held in virtual mode.
Awards
- Winner: Cash Prize of INR 10,000/- (Ten Thousand Only).
- Runner’s Up: Cash Prize of INR 7,000/- (Seven Thousand Only).
- Best Memorial: Cash Prize of INR 3,000/- (Three Thousand Only).
- Best Researcher: Cash Prize of INR 3,000/- (Three Thousand Only).
- Best Mooter: Cash Prize of INR 3,000/- (Three Thousand Only).
- Certificate of participation shall be given to all the participating teams.
Registration Fees (if any)
- Regular Registration: All teams must pay a registration fee of INR 1500/- by 25th December 2024 (11:59 P.M. IST) via Bank Transfer.
- Payment: A registration fee of INR 1500/- must be paid by all teams before submitting the form. The form link will also require the email address of the institution's committee

- Competition Date: 6th & 7th January 2025.
- The deadline for completing registration is 25th December 2024 (11:59 P.M. IST).
- Memorial Submission Last Date: 30th December 2024.
- Submission Queries Date: 31st December.
- All clarification sent on 1st January 2025.
- Submission of Soft Copies: 2nd January 2025.
- Registration for The Oral Round shall be deemed complete only upon submission.
