Details of the Moot Court Competition

The 2nd national-level Moot Court Competition provides a professional courtroom simulation focused on legal research, memorial drafting, and oral advocacy. Participants will address a contemporary moot proposition involving AI, intellectual property, jurisdiction, maintainability, injunctions, and related reliefs, representing both sides in a single suit.

Eligibility

• Students pursuing 3-year LL.B, 5-year integrated LL.B, or LL.M program from recognized institutions in India.
• Teams of 2–3 members only.
• Ph.D. and Diploma students are not eligible.
• One team per institution is allowed.

Registration opens 1 December 2025 and closes 24 December 2025.

Submission Guidelines

• Memorial Soft Copy Submission: 31 December 2025
• Memorial Hard Copy Submission: 04 January 2026
• Participants may frame issues on jurisdiction, maintainability, reliefs, and injunctions from both sides

Awards

• Winner – ₹30,000 + Certificate of Excellence
• Runner-Up – ₹20,000 + Certificate of Excellence
• Best Speaker (Male) – ₹5,000
• Best Speaker (Female) – ₹5,000
• Best Memorial – ₹5,000
• Certificates for Quarter Finalists & Participants as applicable.
