Details of the Job/Internship
GRG Health is hiring an Assistant Manager Legal to join its in-house legal team in Pune. The role involves providing legal support across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and real estate matters, ensuring compliance, managing risk, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities
Corporate Legal & Advisory
- Provide end-to-end legal support for day-to-day business operations.
- Advise business teams on corporate and commercial legal issues, including risk assessment and mitigation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements such as NDAs, vendor agreements, consultancy contracts, lease deeds, MOUs, and LOIs.
- Support compliance requirements under company laws, RERA, and related regulations.
Dispute Management
- Draft legal notices and responses, and assist internal teams in pre-litigation strategy.
- Represent the company before quasi-judicial authorities and coordinate with external counsel for court appearances if required.
Compliance & Regulatory
- Manage statutory compliance under labor, Companies Act, IT, real estate, Shops & Establishments, and other applicable laws.
- Support periodic compliance audits and maintain legal documentation and records.
- Assist in filings and correspondence with the company secretary, government departments, and stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Documentation Support
- Collaborate with business, finance, HR, and operations teams for legal input on transactions and strategic initiatives.
Eligibility
- LLB from a recognised university; CS qualification is an advantage.
- 5–8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure to real estate companies or projects.
- Knowledge of contract law, property laws, RERA, Companies Act, and general commercial law.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
