Details of the Job/Internship

They are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate with 1-2 years of experience to assist in providing high-quality patent research and analysis services to global clients. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies like AI, Machine Learning, and Telecommunications, Automotives, all while gaining in-depth knowledge of global patent laws and intellectual property strategies.

Role and Responsibilities

• Patent Search & Analysis: Conduct in-depth patent searches across leading databases (USPTO, Derwent, Google Patents, etc.), and analyze documents for novelty, patentability, and prior art. 
• Patentability Assessments: Assist in patentability and knockout searches to evaluate new inventions. 
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare concise, insightful, and client-ready reports that translate complex patent data into actionable intelligence.
• Freedom to Operate (FTO) & Infringement Studies: Contribute to infringement analysis, FTO studies, and competitive intelligence reports to help clients navigate the patent landscape. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members on challenging IP projects and expand your skill set through collaborative problem-solving.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's or Master's in IT, Electrical, Computer Science, Telecommunications, AI, ML, Mechanical, Automotive, Robotics, and related fields 
• Experience: 1-2 years in patent search, patentability assessments, or related intellectual property roles. 
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical abilities, and proficiency in reporting findings clearly and professionally. 
• Knowledge: Familiarity with patent databases (e.g., USPTO, Derwent) and an interest in emerging technologies such as AI, ML, and telecommunications. 
• Education: A relevant degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Automotive, or related fields. 

Salary/Stipend
