John and John Advocates is a dynamic corporate law firm seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Legal Advisor to join our legal team in Kochi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on various topics, including contract law, corporate law, and compliance regulations.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, memorandums, and correspondence.
• Prepare legal opinions and analysis on complex issues, summarizing key points for internal stakeholders.
• Manage legal case files, tracking deadlines and key milestones.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
• Provide timely updates on legal matters to relevant departments.
• Support senior legal counsel in litigation matters, including document review and preparation for hearings.
• Stay abreast of legal developments and industry trends, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
• 0-2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and #interpret legal statutes and precedents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary/Stipend
