Details of the Job/Internship
Khemka & Associates | Advocates and Consultants is inviting law students to join their office in Mumbai for 3 months.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research for ongoing cases.
- Draft and proofread legal documents and pleadings.
- Accompany lawyers to court, observe proceedings, and take notes.
- Assist with filing, documentation, and administrative tasks as needed.
Eligibility
- Engage in meaningful litigation assignments, developing practical legal skills.
- Work alongside experienced lawyers and gain valuable insights into the legal field.
- Law students currently enrolled in recognized law schools, preferably in their:
3rd year and onwards (for the 5-year integrated course)
2nd a year and onwards (for the 3-year integrated course) - Proficient in legal databases like SCC Online and Manupatra.
- Basic knowledge of drafting legal documents, petitions, and affidavits.
- Competency in word processing and PDF software.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A meticulous approach to work.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
- High ethical standards and professionalism.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior internship experience in law offices or legal departments.
- However, freshers with a strong interest in litigation are encouraged to apply.
