Medanta is hiring a Legal Associate – Litigation to manage civil and criminal cases, draft legal documents, and provide timely legal advice to senior management.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft and vet appeals, legal documents, deeds, agreements, legal notices, written statements, applications, and replies.
• Handle matters related to civil and criminal cases.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective, and timely legal advice on litigation and business issues.
• Assess legal issues and deliver professional results adhering to guidelines.
• Select and supervise external counsel and manage litigation risks.
• Liaise with external consultants and law firms on routine legal matters.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (5-year) or equivalent from a tier-1 college.
• Experience working in legal firms or chambers.
• Strong expertise in legal drafting, litigation management, civil and criminal law.
• Leadership and management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
