Details of the Job/Internship
SD Industries, LLC is looking for a candidate for the psoition of Paralegal Admin to work with them remotely.
Role and Responsibilities
- Calendar Management: Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Communication Liaison: Act as the point of contact between executives and stakeholders, managing inboxes and ensuring smooth communication.
- Meeting Support: Prepare agendas, attend meetings, and take accurate minutes for executive-level discussions.
- Contract Review & Management: Review, draft, and negotiate contracts such as NDAs and non-compete agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Legal Case Follow-Up: Monitor ongoing litigation, follow up on legal matters, and provide timely updates to management.
- Accounts Receivable Legal Support: Assist with legal follow-up on outstanding receivables, including preparing legal notices and pursuing non-payment or contract breaches.
- Legal Correspondence: Draft grievance letters, legal responses, and manage legal notices received.
- Union and Labor Law Compliance: Handle union-related legal matters and ensure compliance with labor laws.
- Job Site Legal Matters: Overseeing job site incidents, managing claims, and addressing workers' compensation or disability cases.
- Audit, Tax, Insurance, and Legal Documentation: Prepare and manage legal, tax, and insurance documents, ensuring timely submission to authorities.
- Compliance & Alignment: Ensure legal and regulatory alignment across all projects and departments.
- Claims & Legal Interventions: Support legal claims, assist in negotiations, and help manage settlements.
- Project Management: Coordinate and oversee cross-departmental projects, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Document Preparation & Filing: Draft, review, organize, and maintain reports and documents with up-to-date filing systems.
- Research: Conduct research and summarize key insights for decision-making.
Eligibility
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
- 2+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in the construction or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, insurance regulations, and legal compliance.
- Familiarity with labor laws, union regulations, and job site incident protocols.
- Proven administrative experience supporting senior-level executives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
