Details of the Job/Internship

National Law School of India University is hiring a Research Assistant – Legal with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct policy research on food security and child rights.
• Support research through development of data collection tools and analysis.
• Prepare research reports using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Assist in multi-stakeholder engagement with state departments.
• Support the development of training modules and ensure quality of training programmes.
• Publish research papers and contribute to institutional blogs.
• Assist in organising events and stakeholder discussions.
• Perform related tasks to support ongoing work at CCL.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (essential).
• Master’s degree in Law or social sciences (desirable).
• 1–3 years of experience in policy or socio-legal research (essential).
• Experience in the social development sector (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel within and outside Karnataka.
