Details of the Job/Internship
National Law School of India University is hiring a Research Assistant – Legal with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct policy research on food security and child rights.
- Support research through development of data collection tools and analysis.
- Prepare research reports using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Assist in multi-stakeholder engagement with state departments.
- Support the development of training modules and ensure quality of training programmes.
- Publish research papers and contribute to institutional blogs.
- Assist in organising events and stakeholder discussions.
- Perform related tasks to support ongoing work at CCL.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (essential).
- Master’s degree in Law or social sciences (desirable).
- 1–3 years of experience in policy or socio-legal research (essential).
- Experience in the social development sector (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel within and outside Karnataka.
