Details of the Job/Internship

Vahura is hiring for the position of Senior Legal Manager with experience of 9-14 years to join their Pune office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• The role involves providing comprehensive legal support on title due diligence, land acquisition, and real estate contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and safeguarding the company’s interests in all transactions.
• Conduct thorough legal due diligence for land parcels and properties.
• Identify potential risks, discrepancies, and encumbrances in land titles and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation related to land acquisition, including sale deeds, lease agreements, and development agreements.
• Handle legal aspects of land acquisition, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national regulations.
• Draft and review various real estate-related contracts, including joint development agreements, construction agreements, and vendor contracts.
• Negotiate terms with stakeholders to ensure agreements align with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws, RERA regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies for clearances and registrations.
• Handle disputes related to property transactions and provide legal advisory to minimize risks.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitration, and negotiations when required.
