Responsibilities

• You must be someone who has 3-4 years of PQE, ideally who has worked in non-litigation practice.
• You may have worked with a Tier-10-15 law firm or solo lawyer in a small town, but you will have seen and dealt with clients.

People from large corporates probably might not feel at home in this function.

This is also not a role for freshers - you must have done hands-on work.

• You must be able to write and speak in English without any grammatical errors (this is non-negotiable and if we see any errors in sentence construction, we will not take your application forward).
• You must be able to think on your feet.

We are looking for people who are not conditioned to believe that there's just one way to do things. You need to apply your mind, and you need to think differently for each contract you get to handle.

 

Working in this team can teach you a lot of things about commercial contract drafting and if you're good, in just one month you will gain experience of working on assignments of the kind you will not have got to work on in a year somewhere else. This is not unreal - this is the genuine feedback of a current team member.

 

This is a 100% remote role and people from out of India are welcome to apply.

 

We will work with a trial month (of course it will be paid) but your salary will not be based on your last drawn salary. We will see how you think and deliver in the trial month.
