All India Bar Examination is less difficult to crack as it is a qualifying exam and it tests the candidate's legal knowledge. On analysis of previous year papers, it can be said that the level of difficulty of the exam is moderate.
All India Bar Examination is a qualifying examination and the student needs to secure the qualifying marks to get a permanent licence of practice. A candidate should keep following things in mind while appearing for AIBE XIX Exam:
- Solve as many mocks as you can.
- Analyse your performance in Mocks and work on the areas where you score less.
- Read Index of the Bare Acts.
- Revise all the Landmark cases.
- Attempt all the questions.
Common Challenges that All India Bar Examination aspirants face at the time of Exams:
- Time Management: Candidates are under the impression that the Bar Exam will be an open book exam and they do not have to study. But the pattern is changed for the AIBE exam and it is no longer an open book examination. Till date only Bare Acts without comments is allowed and no other books, notes or study material is allowed. Candidates do not read the bare acts or case laws thoroughly and as a result they find it difficult to complete paper on time by finding answers from the Bare Acts. Proper Management of time is the key to crack the examination.
- Not practising enough: Once you have worked on clearing your basics, practice, practice and only practice is the remaining most crucial element of the examination. On an average one should be solving 75-100 MCQs almost on a daily basis as a last month run up to the examination to be fully familiar with the kind of questions that are tested.
- Not Analysing Mock Scores: Analysing where you are lagging behind in attaining 70+ scores in mock will help you in performing better in actual exam. Identifying the weaker subjects and working on it, will increase the chance of qualifying the AIBE XIX.
- Simulated environment for a Computer Based Test: Students should always solve mocks in a simulated exam-like environment with a timer on. It will help them to get a hold of time and perform better in exams.
- Not Knowing What to Skip: It is very important to know what should be focused upon in the last month. It is not practically possible to read everything at the last minute.
