Every year lakhs of candidates appear for the Law Entrance Exams across India. To name a few renowned law entrance exams being CLAT, AILET, SLAT, BLAT, LSAT & DU LLB. Out of several aspiring candidates, only a fraction of the total applicants is able to attain their dream and join National Law Universities or any of the other prestigious law colleges.
A lot many lose their hope to clear exams because they can’t even afford the tuition fees of the law entrance coaching, which has literally become mandatory thanks to the tough competition and feeling of being left out. 
Many travel to different cities so that they can be taught from faculties renowned in the law entrance exam domain. Many leave the preparation after one year wondering if they can at all afford the exorbitant coaching fee in their drop year. This illustrates the problem. Do we have any solution to that? Yes, we have. The Project Maverick.

What is Project Maverick?

This project is dedicated to Prof. Shamnad Basheer and his goal of making legal education reach marginalised communities and every corner of this country. The idea is to create leaders, and not followers. Access must be created where it is possible. And there are small things each of us can do.

It aims at providing free training for law aspirants for all law entrances.  We are charging a nominal fee of Rs. 2,499 to keep away irrelevant people (when we were charging nothing a lot of spammers were joining us and causing the disturbance. The nominal fee can be afforded by anyone, but it keeps the spammers away).

The courses we provide are comparable to the training programs imparted by top coaching centres for CLAT which charge tens of thousands of rupees for CLAT training. The training cost is funded by LawSikho.com.

We make information available transparently regarding quality law schools and private law colleges through blog posts, youtube videos, Instagram and other major social media channels used by youth.

Organise webinars and seminars for schools around the country, and organise talent search tests. 

Organise daily webinars and weekly mock tests and mentorship sessions free of cost.
