Are You:

  • Stressed out by the worry of bagging a decently-paying job by the time you complete your LLB or integrated BA/BSc/BCom/BBA plus LLB course?
  • Anxious about the fact that your law college does not figure among the top 5, 10 or 15 law schools in terms of placement scores?
  • Unaware of the fact that, despite it being true that the National Law Schools attract the most lucrative recruiters, even traditional law colleges like CLC, DU and ILS, Pune also draw well-paying recruiters by the droves!
  • For example, the highest offer in Delhi University placed before its LLB grads of the 2020 batch was INR 16 lakhs per year, offered by the top-tier law firm Khaitan & Co. (Source: Quora)

This 3-Day FREE ONLINE Bootcamp on “How to make sure you graduate from law college with a job” 14th-16th August 2021, 6-9 p.m. IST is the right place for you to begin de-stressing yourself and gearing up for a bright future ahead!

Common myths about how to get a law firm job

  • Only NLU students have access to the best job opportunities
  • Only toppers in law schools can get jobs in top law firms
  • You need to be a mooter or publish articles or present papers in conferences if you want to get a law firm job
  • Law firms are only for corporate lawyers; those who want to work on disputes and litigation cannot work in a law firm
  • To get a law firm job, LLB alone is not enough. You need to also do CS or LLM.
  • Seniors at law firms will mentor and train us in internships
  • Having a long list of internships in prestigious firms will enable me to secure my dream job eventually
  • First-generation lawyers will find it very hard to get law firm jobs - 2nd and 3rd generation lawyers will always do better
  • Placement committee of my law school will help me to get a job. They promised at the time of admission after all
  • If I do not get through to one of the big and famous law firms, it is not worth working with the smaller law firms
  • If I do not get a law firm job as a fresher, then I have no hope of getting a top law firm job later
  • All law firms are equal. All law firms pay great salaries. Just get into any firm

Our answer to your question is also in the form of these following questions:
  • Are you a 1st year law student planning to secure a gainful future as a budding future-lawyer of India but wondering how to go about swimming in this vast ocean and where are the treasure islands and Davy Jone’s lockers located, and where do the anxiety-sharks swim in the fast-current of the ever-changing nature of law as a profession?
  • Are you a 2nd year law student who have developed a rudimentary idea in the form of a career-development goal but still not sure about how to tap into the best available job-offers that will start coming your way in a couple years or so?
  • Are you a 3rd year law student who, by now, have formed more concrete career-goals and look forward to tapping into the jobs and placements opportunities from the next year itself?
  • Are you a 4th Year Law Student raring to dive headfirst into the job-hunt and recruitment scenario so that you can land that ideal job in a year or two?
  • Are you a soon-to-be law grad from a 3-year LLB or a 5-year Integrated BA/BSc/BCom/BBA-LLB or any similar undergraduate-level law-degree or any law-related diploma course from anywhere in the world and looking to rid yourself of the job-hunt-blues by landing that ideal placement-offer or PPO?

What participants have to say about our earlier bootcamps:

The second day of the session (the boot camp) for judiciary exams was incredible. Abhyuday sir helped a lot in making me understand the courses for my judiciary exam by relating to real circumstances and boosting me up and believing in myself and the course. LawSikho has a course improving English vocabulary which is not available in any judiciary coaching classes.
Before appearing for the judiciary exam they have a lot in the box like internships, scholarships, freelancing and many great opportunities.

They have a money back guarantee which is more good for people from a middle class family.

This is an investment for me by connecting with LawSikho #LawSikho

Done with day 1 of the Contract Drafting Bootcamp offered by LawSikho . It has been an insightful and inspiring session. My 3 key takeaways from the session are:
- The pandemic has fueled the global talent arbitrage, making remote working and working across borders a lucrative venture.
- SBP which means Solve Bigger Problems. What comes after this is one's personal affirmation. Mine is seeing Unicorns mushrooming and supported by my practical skills and knowledge of contract drafting.
- Start early. Gain practical skills.
And guess what; this valuable course is FREE. Thank you LawSikho for this great opportunity. Looking forward to our second and third day!

The bootcamp offered by LAW SIKHO is the treasure I traced during the pandemic last year. I have been attending bootcamps on various topics . They are actually genuine and rare to be found honest people.
In the recent on-going CORPORATE LAW boot camp , Today i learnt
A lot of new things. Few I want to share are precise below:
1) What is a by law And Few Imp. sections of DELAWARE CORPORATION and framing a sale purchase agreement.
2) The pro tip - invest your time learning and working where demand is high and suppy of skill rare.
3) They gave insight upon Doodling opportunities like "Remote working " and "global legal arbitrage".
Thank you!
Looking forward to learn a lot more in consecutive days of bootcamp.

Dear Mr. Ramanuj Mukherjee,
I was there on the first day, it's a great session. We wish we could have such sessions in our early career.
I have resumed my independent law practice in my mid-age after a decade-long stint with the international civil service, and notably eight years with the ILO. My present areas of practice are labour and service laws. There are few multinationals in the list, including the Grameenphone Ltd. whom I am advising, especially labour laws and industrial relations. I am very much focused on these areas and have been well regarded as an expert lawyer in the field.
Mostly inspired by presentations of you and your good colleague Mr. Abhyuday Agarwal today. Devising my ideas for international works. Looking forward to valuable discussions in the next two days. Stay safe and healthy. My best regards.
