Nyaya Shastra, in collaboration with Legal Eagle, is organizing the 2nd Nyaya Shastra Virtual Moot Court Competition 2026. Nyaya Shastra is an MSME-registered full-service law firm and legal learning platform committed to bridging the gap between theoretical legal education and practical application. It actively promotes legal awareness, pro bono initiatives, and skill-based learning through competitions, internships, and its quarterly journal VIDHIKA.

Legal Eagle is a legal knowledge platform that provides updates on judicial decisions, legal analysis, and developments in law, making complex legal concepts accessible to students and professionals.

Details of the Moot Court Competition

The competition is a national-level virtual moot court aimed at enhancing research, drafting, and advocacy skills. Participants will argue a contemporary legal problem through structured rounds including:

• Preliminary Rounds (I & II)
• Quarter Finals
• Semi-Finals
• Final Round 

Eligibility

• Students enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. courses
• Team composition: 2 speakers (mandatory) + 1 researcher (optional)
• Maximum 3 teams per institution
• Limited to 48 teams (First Come, First Serve basis)

• Submit 2 memorials (Petitioner & Respondent)
• Format: Word + PDF

• Citation: Bluebook 21st Edition
• Maximum length: 35 pages (excluding annexure)
• 20% plagiarism allowed (penalty beyond limit)
• AI usage strictly prohibited
• Deadline: 1st April 2026 (11:59 PM)

• Best Speaker – ₹5,000
