The idea of ‘Symbiosis’ is nurtured by  Dr. S. B. Mujumdar on the principles of vedic thought ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which means ‘World as One Family’. Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Hyderabad is established in 2014 inheriting splendid novelty, dynamism and excellence in education of Symbiosis International University, Pune. The Legacy of Symbiosis Law Schools in excellence and quality began with Symbiosis Law School Pune, which is consistently ranked among top 10 law schools in India in last 13 years. 
As a policy, the Symbiosis Law School, Pune will mentor the Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad campus.  Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad is founded on pillars of expertise, justice and Service and is committed to impart quality legal education confirming to acclaimed International standards.

Details of the Moot Court Competition

Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad, is delighted to announce the 9th Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad Moot Court Competition, 2025 (“9th MCC, 2025“), which shall allow students to deal with an exceptionally crafted hypothetical case to showcase their argumentative skills. The event shall be held with an expert panel of eminent personalities judging the rounds, aiding students in gaining experience and knowledge like never before.

Eligibility

• Law Students pursuing five-year integrated undergraduate law program are eligible to register for the competition.
• The team must comprise 3 members (two speakers and one researcher).
• Additionally, L.L.M. students are ineligible to participate.

Awards

• Winners – Cash Prize of Rs. 50,000/-, Internships from Kochhar & Co., 1-year subscriptions to SCC Online Web Edition
• Runners Up- Cash Prize of Rs. 30,000/-, 1-year subscriptions to EBC Learning
• Best Speaker- Cash Prize of Rs. 15,000/-
• 2nd Best Speaker- Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-
• Best Memorial- Cash Prize of Rs. 15,000/-

Additionally, all merit holders will receive 100% scholarship for a course at Asian School of Cyber Laws.

Registration Fees (if any)

All the teams registering for the 9th MCC, 2025, are expected to make a single final payment of INR 8500/- (inclusive of accommodation and food). All information regarding mode of payment and account details shall be communicated to the teams, upon completion of provisional registration. The registration fee is inclusive of any and all GST charges.

• Commencement of Registration – 20th February, 2025.
• Last Date for Registration – 10th March, 2025.
• Last Date for Seeking Clarifications – 7th March, 2025.
• Release of Clarifications – 13th March, 2025.
• Submission of Memorials – 22nd March, 2025.
