SolarWinds is hiring for the position of Advisory Corporate Counsel with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel on procurement-related matters, including vendor risk, data privacy, information security, AI-related reviews, and internal system dependencies.
- Review, draft, redline, and negotiate various vendor agreements (NDAs, SaaS, software licenses, MSAs, DPAs, and professional services agreements).
- Partner with global buyers and departments to streamline communication between Legal, Finance, Product, and InfoSec teams.
- Support and manage the OneTrust workflow in collaboration with stakeholders from IT, InfoSec, and Procurement.
- Coordinate with Legal team members on escalations and risk assessments.
- Assist in developing and delivering training sessions on procurement and OneTrust workflows for internal stakeholders.
- Identify and implement legal operations and process enhancements for more efficient contract management and stakeholder coordination.
- Participate in cross-functional strategic projects and special assignments as required.
Eligibility
- Licensed attorney with 3–5 years of legal experience, ideally within a fast-paced software, SaaS, or technology company.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, technology transactions, and data privacy regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and contract analysis skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Business-oriented mindset with the ability to translate legal risk into clear, actionable guidance.
- Experience working across global teams and managing cross-time zone workflows.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
- Proactive, organized, and results-driven with a collaborative, team-first attitude.
- A good sense of humor and the ability to maintain a positive, flexible outlook.
