Details of the Job/Internship

Law Learning Bench is hiring for the position of Advocacy Skills Trainer with 5 years of experience to join their office in Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery

• Conduct engaging, interactive sessions on advocacy topics such as examination-in-chief, cross-examination, oral arguments, bail applications, pleading drafting, and client interviewing.
• Demonstrate practical techniques through simulations, mock trials, and role-plays.
• Tailor teaching methods to meet the needs of participants with varying levels of experience.

2. Content Development & Customization

• Design, update, and refine training materials, case studies, and exercises in line with programme objectives.
• Integrate current legal developments, landmark judgments, and procedural updates into modules.

3. Mentoring & Feedback

• Provide one-on-one coaching to enhance participants’ advocacy style, courtroom etiquette, and legal reasoning.
• Offer constructive feedback highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.

4. Assessment & Evaluation

• Develop tools to assess participant performance and track progress.
• Maintain training records, feedback reports, and performance data for programme enhancement.

5. Collaboration & Continuous Learning

• Work with the Academic Head and Content Development Team to refine programme structures.
• Stay informed on evolving advocacy trends, litigation strategies, and judicial procedures.

Eligibility

Education:

• LL.B. (mandatory) and preferably LL.M. with a focus on Litigation, Advocacy, Criminal, or Civil Procedure.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of active litigation experience in trial courts or higher judiciary.
• Demonstrated track record of courtroom appearances and advocacy work.
• Prior experience as a trainer, law school faculty, or workshop facilitator preferred.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
