Details of the Job/Internship

Counsel & Council is hiring an Associate with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in the end-to-end management of domestic and international arbitration proceedings.
• Conduct in-depth research on arbitration precedents and procedural laws.
• Draft pleadings, including Statements of Claim, Defense, and Section 9 or Section 11 applications.
• Liaise with clients and coordinate with senior counsels for tribunal hearings.
• Support the firm in handling post-award proceedings, such as Section 34 challenges or enforcement petitions.

Eligibility

• Law Graduate (LLB) based in Mumbai.
• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specifically in arbitration or commercial litigation.
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
• Well-versed with the latest amendments and landmark judgments in Indian arbitration law.
