Details of the Job/Internship

Mukul Garg & Associates | Chartered Accountants is looking for a candidate for the role of Advocate Intern to join them at their office in New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• The Advocate Intern will assist in handling tax-related cases, prepare and review legal documentation, research tax laws and regulations, and support litigation processes for Income Tax, GST, and other statutory compliance matters.
• Day-to-day tasks will also involve assisting clients with legal queries, drafting appeals, and maintaining compliance records for businesses and non-profit organizations.

Eligibility

• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and compliance laws.
• Skills in legal research and drafting appeals or legal documents.
• Understanding of International Taxation and financial reporting standards such as IFRS (Ind AS) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in maintaining organized records and databases.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a professional setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field; relevant internship experience is preferred.
