Details of the Job/Internship
Narayani Associates is hiring an Advocate – Legal Drafting to join its team in Mumbai. The role involves extensive litigation and non-litigation drafting, legal research, client advisory, and preparation of legal content including articles and newsletters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft contracts, letters, notices, powers of attorney, memoranda of understanding, master services agreements, leave and license agreements, and sale and mortgage deeds.
- Draft suits, writ petitions, criminal complaints, RERA complaints, consumer forum complaints, original applications, securitisation applications, IBC and company petitions, and interim applications.
- Conduct legal research and incorporate legal principles and judgments into drafts.
- Prepare newsletters, articles, and legal memos.
- Advise clients during calls and meetings on legal applicability and next steps.
Eligibility
- Excellent drafting skills in both litigation and non-litigation matters.
- Strong command of English grammar, both written and verbal.
- Ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and apply relevant law and judgments.
- Willingness to work extended or odd hours.
- Self-driven approach with the ability to deliver work within agreed timelines.
- Good communication skills with the ability to deal directly with clients.
- Team-oriented attitude.
