Unimarks Legal is hiring an Advocate with 3–6 years of litigation experience to join their legal team. The role involves handling civil, criminal, DRT, and consumer cases, including drafting, filing, and representing clients before courts and tribunals.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients before Civil Courts, Criminal Courts, DRT, Consumer Forums, and other judicial/quasi-judicial bodies.
- Handle end-to-end litigation, including case preparation, drafting, filing, and arguments.
- Draft pleadings, petitions, complaints, affidavits, rejoinders, written statements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and case strategies.
- Liaise with clients, provide case updates, and advise on legal options.
- Ensure timely filing, compliance, and effective case management.
- Work closely with senior advocates, colleagues, and clients for case resolution.
Eligibility
- LL.B / LL.M from a recognized university.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council and licensed to practice law.
- 3–6 years of proven litigation experience in Civil, Criminal, DRT, and Consumer matters.
- Strong drafting, legal research, and advocacy skills.
- Good communication, client-handling, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
