ALP (Advik Law Partners) is looking to hire an Associate for their Litigation practice group in Indore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Expertise in handling cases related to the 138 Negotiable Instruments Act, including but not limited to dishonor of cheques, legal notices, and court proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis pertaining to 138 NI Act cases to provide strategic advice and guidance to clients.
- Draft and review legal documents such as complaints, petitions, affidavits, and other court filings related to 138 NI Act matters.
- Represent clients in various judicial forums including district courts, high courts, and tribunals, ensuring effective advocacy and representation.
- Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and relevant stakeholders to negotiate settlements and resolve disputes amicably whenever possible.
- Keep abreast of latest developments, amendments, and precedents in the field of 138 NI Act to enhance expertise and provide cutting-edge legal solutions.
- Collaborate with other team members and contribute to the overall growth and success of Advik Law Partners (ALP).
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution. Additional specialization or certification in Negotiable Instruments Act would be advantageous.
- Proven track record of 2-3 years of experience specifically dealing with cases related to the 138 Negotiable Instruments Act.
- Sound knowledge of procedural and substantive laws governing the 138 NI Act, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legal principles effectively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and dedication to client service.
