Details of the Job/Internship
AMRG & Associates is hiring an Advocate with 1–2 years of relevant experience to support its growing UAE Tax Advisory Practice in the UAE. The role focuses on technical research on UAE taxation laws and professional drafting of advisory documents and knowledge materials. The position is suited for candidates interested in in-depth technical work, structured analysis, and professional writing.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct structured research on UAE VAT law and executive regulations, UAE Corporate Tax law, Free Zone taxation rules, and FTA guides, public clarifications, and cabinet decisions.
- Track and analyse new tax notifications, amendments, regulatory updates, and compliance changes.
- Prepare internal research notes and technical summaries for senior review.
- Draft professional documents including tax advisory opinions, technical memorandums, client responses, issue notes, presentations, research papers, and articles or alerts on UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Maintain and update internal repositories of tax research, precedents, and regulatory updates.
- Develop templates and standard formats for recurring advisory work.
Eligibility
- Postgraduate in Commerce or Law/LLB.
- Excellent command of professional written English.
- Strong analytical and interpretational abilities.
- Good understanding of tax laws and regulations.
- Ability to interpret legal documents.
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience.
