Details of the Job/Internship
Be Legal is hiring an Advocate with 2–6 years of experience to join their office in New Delhi. The role involves representing clients in court, drafting legal documents, providing legal advice, conducting case law research, negotiating settlements, and collaborating with clients and colleagues.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent clients in corporate and criminal litigation, white-collar crime cases, and arbitration matters.
- Draft legal documents, contracts, pleadings, and other court submissions.
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis to support ongoing and prospective matters.
- Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients.
- Negotiate settlements and assist in dispute resolution.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage cases efficiently.
- Maintain attention to detail while managing multiple cases simultaneously.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law with relevant bar admission.
- 2–6 years of experience in corporate & criminal litigation, white-collar crime defense, or arbitration.
- Strong legal research, analytical, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
