Chambers of Mayan H Jain is hiring an Advocate to join its team in Chennai. This is a full-time, on-site role involving legal representation, research, drafting, court appearances, and client advisory, with collaboration across legal teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Providing legal representation before courts and authorities.
- Conducting in-depth legal research and case analysis.
- Drafting legal documents, pleadings, contracts, and agreements.
- Attending court proceedings and hearings.
- Advising clients on legal matters.
- Analysing legal scenarios and interpreting applicable laws.
- Collaborating with legal teams and professionals.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LLB or equivalent).
- Valid Bar Council enrolment.
- Strong knowledge of legal research and case law analysis.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Prior experience or knowledge of litigation and court procedures is an advantage.
