Creditup Technology Private Limited is hiring an Advocate with experience of 1 to 5 years to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
Litigation Support:
- Represent/case filling in legal proceedings across Magistrate, DRT, NCLT, and High Court.
- Handle cases under the SARFAESI Act, Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, arbitration matters, and other relevant financial disputes.
Legal Documentation:
- Draft, review, and vet legal documents, agreements, and contracts to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Prepare and send well-drafted legal notices and replies.
Advisory & Compliance:
- Provide expert legal advice on financial matters and ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks.
- Assist in legal due diligence, risk assessment, and dispute resolution strategies.
Case Management:
- Follow up on pending legal cases, prepare necessary submissions, and liaise with external counsels when required.
- Maintain proper documentation of all legal matters and proceedings.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM from a recognized institution.
- Experience: Minimum 1-5 years of litigation experience, preferred experience in finance-related cases.
- In-depth knowledge of the SARFAESI Act, Section 138 (cheque bounce), arbitration, and other financial laws.
- Experience in drafting, vetting, and negotiating legal documents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Proficient in legal research and drafting.
