Details of the Job/Internship
Dhwaj & Associates is seeking a Senior Associate with 7–8 years of experience to join its litigation wing in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the representation of clients in complex commercial and civil litigation matters.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive litigation strategies tailored to client business interests.
- Draft and vet sophisticated legal pleadings, including plaints, written statements, and writ petitions.
- Represent the firm and its clients before various courts, tribunals, and arbitral panels.
- Manage high-stakes matters with full ownership, ensuring quality and timeliness of all deliverables.
- Conduct extensive research on evolving legal precedents in commercial and civil law.
- Collaborate with the corporate teams to provide litigation-risk assessments for M&A and PE/VC deals.
- Mentor and oversee the work of junior associates and interns within the litigation practice.
Eligibility
- 7–8 years of hands-on experience in commercial and civil litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding professional environment.
- Strong advocacy skills and a deep understanding of procedural laws (CPC, Evidence Act, etc.).
- Proven track record of taking full ownership of legal matters and achieving meaningful impacts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective courtroom representation.
- Ability to manage complex case files and client relationships independently.
