Details of the Job/Internship

Diwan Advocates is looking for a candidate for the position of Advocate - Civil & Commercial with 10 years of experience to join them at their office in Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• The role involves providing legal counsel, drafting and reviewing complex legal documents, representing clients in civil and commercial matters, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• The Advocate will also conduct legal research, develop strategies for litigation or arbitration, and provide advice on dispute resolution and contractual issues.
• The position requires coordination with clients and legal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Eligibility

• Minimum 10 years prior experience in Civil Law, Commercial Law, and Contract Law.
• Expertise in Legal Drafting and Reviewing legal documents.
• Strong skills in Litigation, Arbitration, and Dispute Resolution.
• Proficiency in Legal Research, Analysis, and Strategy Development.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) with a PQE of 10 years in Civil and Commercial Law. Prior trial court experience is preferred.

Salary/Stipend
