Details of the Job/Internship
Diwan Advocates is hiring for the position of Advocate with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice and representation to clients across diverse practice areas.
- Draft, review, and vet a wide array of legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support ongoing cases and client matters.
- Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, and before regulatory bodies.
- Negotiate on behalf of clients and support dispute resolution strategies.
- Stay updated on recent legal developments, case laws, and regulatory changes.
Eligibility
- LLB degree with a valid Bar Council registration.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in litigation and advisory work.
- Proficient in legal drafting, research, and court procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in client negotiations and case strategy development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
- Prior experience in commercial law will be considered an added advantage.
