Details of the Job/Internship

Diwan Advocates is hiring for the position of Advocate with 10+ years of experience to join their office in Delhi. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Represent clients independently before High Courts, Tribunals, and other legal forums.
• Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, replies, submissions, and opinions across a broad spectrum of laws.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior advocates, associates, and interns to maintain high standards of legal practice and delivery.
• Strategize litigation matters in consultation with partners and clients, and ensure effective case management.
• Coordinate with external counsels, regulatory authorities, and clients as required.
• Manage cause lists, court filings, hearings, and daily case updates.
• Uphold rigorous standards in legal research, drafting, and courtroom advocacy.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B); Master’s degree (LL.M) is a plus.
• Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on litigation experience.
• Proven expertise in independently arguing matters before higher judicial and quasi-judicial authorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously with precision and clarity.

Salary/Stipend
