Details of the Job/Internship

Khan Deshmukh and Associates is hiring an Advocate with experience of 1–2 years to join their office in Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role involving conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, representing clients in court proceedings, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The role also requires close collaboration with clients and colleagues to develop legal strategies, manage case matters, and resolve disputes effectively.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare legal documents and case-related materials.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop legal strategies.
• Handle case matters and support dispute resolution.

Eligibility

• Strong legal research, interpretation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, agreements, and case summaries.
• 1–2 years of experience in civil and criminal litigation, court representation, and client counselling.
• Working knowledge of relevant legal frameworks, statutes, and case law.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification; LLM is a plus.
• Relevant experience within a law firm or legal department is desirable.

Salary/Stipend
