Details of the Job/Internship
KP Law Associates LLP is hiring an Advocate with 5–10 years of PQE to join their Mumbai office near the Bombay High Court.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist seniors and represent clients before courts, arbitrators, and other forums.
- Conduct legal research and draft notes, affidavits, and other legal documents.
- Track case statuses, monitor recent judgments, and update partners and clients.
- Organize case papers chronologically and ensure compliance with filing procedures.
- Interact with clients to obtain necessary documents and brief seniors.
- Attend court proceedings, mention matters, and support dispute resolution.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or equivalent degree; enrolled with the Bar Council.
- 5–10 years of post-qualification experience in litigation and arbitration.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and client communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple cases.
- Knowledge of electricity, real estate, IPR/media, revenue, municipal, company, and/or criminal laws is an added advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
