Details of the Job/Internship
Law Brothers is hiring an Associate (CA, Advocate, or CMA) with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience to join their offices in Mumbai or Bhilwara
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing litigation strategies and coordinating with senior advocates and counsels.
- Draft and review detailed replies to Show Cause Notices (SCN), Audit Observations, and Summons.
- Prepare appeals, petitions, and legal submissions for various judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
- Conduct exhaustive legal research on GST statutes, advance rulings, and judicial precedents.
- Draft formal legal opinions and advisory notes to address complex client queries.
- Review client documentation and GST returns to identify and mitigate potential litigation risks.
- Monitor and interpret the latest amendments and judicial developments in the field of indirect taxation.
Eligibility
- Qualified CA, Advocate, or CMA.
- Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Indirect Taxation Litigation.
- Must be willing to commit to the firm for at least 2 years.
- Strong understanding of GST law, appellate procedures, and departmental processes.
- Excellent analytical, legal drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure litigation environment.
