Details of the Job/Internship

Magnetite Solicitors is hiring an Advocate to join their office in Kolkata. This is a full-time, on-site role involving client representation in legal proceedings, providing legal advice, preparing legal documentation, and conducting legal research. The role includes attending court hearings, drafting legal agreements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, and working closely with clients to understand and address their legal challenges.

Role and Responsibilities

• Represent clients in legal proceedings and court hearings.
• Provide accurate and practical legal advice to clients.
• Prepare, draft, and review legal documentation and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and provide appropriate legal solutions.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) and a valid legal license to practice.
• Strong legal research skills and proficiency in preparing legal documents.
• Sound knowledge of local and national laws, with experience in court procedures.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to ethical legal practices and confidentiality.
• Prior experience as an Advocate or in similar legal roles is advantageous.

Salary/Stipend
