Details of the Job/Internship
Manas Law Chambers is hiring an Advocate to join their office in Kolkata. This is a full-time, on-site role involving dispute resolution and participation in socio-legal initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle negotiation, drafting, and pre-dispute legal matters.
- Initiate and manage alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Provide legal counsel and conduct legal research.
- Participate in socio-legal projects including legal literacy camps and pro-bono work.
Eligibility
- Experience in negotiation, drafting agreements, and managing pre-dispute matters.
- Proficiency in alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to social causes and willingness to engage in socio-legal projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Law and enrollment in the Bar Council.
Salary/Stipend
