Details of the Job/Internship
Mandhane & Co is hiring an Advocate to join their office in Mumbai. The role includes providing legal advice and representation, preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing casework. It also involves coordinating with clients and colleagues, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards, and attending court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations as required.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and representation.
- Prepare and review legal documents.
- Conduct in-depth legal research.
- Manage casework.
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and professionals.
- Attend court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding and expertise in legal research, case preparation, and litigation strategies.
- Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and analysing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with strong organisational skills.
- Familiarity with legal practices in Mumbai is an advantage.
- LL.B or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution; membership in the Bar Council of India.
- Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is advantageous but not mandatory.
