Details of the Job/Internship
Manoj Ornaments is seeking a qualified and experienced Advocate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the company.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including corporate, labor, intellectual property, and consumer protection laws.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
- Liaise with external legal counsel and manage relationships with external law firms as necessary.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies and policies.
- Handle corporate legal matters such as mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on legal matters and compliance issues.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Advocate.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in legal research tools and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
