Details of the Job/Internship

PayAssured is hiring an Advocate  to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle legal matters specifically related to debt recovery and commercial collections.
• Draft, review, and analyze high-stakes legal documents, including demand notices and plaints.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings and navigate litigation processes effectively.
• Ensure all recovery actions are in full compliance with relevant financial laws and regulations.
• Conduct exhaustive research on legal cases to interpret and apply legal frameworks for recovery.
• Resolve complex commercial disputes efficiently through negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain professional and positive communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the process.
• Manage a high volume of cases independently while meeting organizational recovery targets.

Eligibility

• Must possess an LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Mandatory enrollment with the relevant Bar Council.
• Proven experience in dispute resolution, compliance management, and litigation processes.
• Strong skills in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing complex legal documents.
• Sound understanding of debt recovery processes and associated regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in corporate legal services or debt recovery is considered a major plus.

Salary/Stipend
