Details of the Job/Internship

PSS Legal Advisors LLP is hiring for the position of Advocate with 4+ years of experience to join their office in Chennai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle and negotiate various corporate transactions, including M&A, joint ventures, and commercial contracts.
• Conduct legal due diligence and prepare detailed reports.
• Draft, review, and advise on corporate and commercial agreements.
• Provide strategic legal advice on corporate, regulatory, FEMA, and compliance matters.
• Manage work independently and ensure timely delivery of assignments.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to execute transactions efficiently.

Eligibility

• Law degree from a recognized university with valid enrollment in a State Bar Council.
• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in corporate transactions, due diligence, and commercial contracting.
• Strong understanding of contract law and related legal frameworks.
• Ability to independently manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Excellent legal drafting, analytical, communication, and advisory skills.
• Strong capability to interpret complex legal issues and provide practical, business-oriented solutions.
