Details of the Job/Internship
R Singh & Associates is hiring an Advocate to join their office in Kolkata & Delhi NCR.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents.
- Attending court proceedings and participating in litigation.
- Briefing senior counsel and handling procedural aspects of cases.
- Engaging in client consultations and dispute resolution.
- Providing legal advice and representation to clients.
- Kolkata Office: The role will primarily involve work related to the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), the High Court, the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT), criminal courts, and other relevant forums.
- Delhi Office: The focus will be on Sports Law, the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code (IBC), criminal courts, and other relevant forums.
Eligibility
- Strong expertise in legal research, drafting, and litigation.
- Prior experience in providing legal advisory and court representation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge in Corporate Law, Taxation, Intellectual Property, Criminal Law, or other relevant legal domains.
- Must be a registered member of the Bar Council of India.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a strong interest in litigation, as the role will involve court appearances, drafting, briefing senior counsels, and other litigation-related responsibilities.
