Details of the Job/Internship
Tort Experts is hiring an Intake Advocate to serve as the first point of contact for potential injury claimants in a fully remote role.
Role and Responsibilities
- Build rapport and establish confidence with prospective claimants during initial interactions.
- Handle 150–200 inbound and outbound calls per day in a call center environment.
- Guide claimants through screening to determine eligibility for legal representation.
- Assist eligible claimants in completing initial intake forms and applications.
- Maintain claimant relationships through proactive follow-ups.
- Accurately document interactions, concerns, and complaints in a paperless database.
- Exercise judgment to identify urgent issues requiring escalation to management.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Meet occupancy, adherence, and performance targets.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Prior call center or BPO experience is required.
- Legal intake experience is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
