Details of the Job/Internship
Trilect Associates is hiring a Local Advocate to join their office in Murshidabad,West Bengal.
Role and Responsibilities
- Liaise and coordinate effectively with the local police regarding cyber fraud investigations.
- Represent the client professionally before local law enforcement and administrative authorities.
- Approach the relevant district courts in Murshidabad for legal remedies or proceedings if required.
- Handle documentation, filing of representations, and procedural formalities at the police station level.
- Provide regular status updates and factual reports to the primary legal team at Trilect Associates.
- Assist in gathering local evidence or information pertinent to the cyber fraud case.
Eligibility
- Must be a practicing Advocate based specifically in Murshidabad, West Bengal.
- Ability to physically visit and represent clients at local police stations and government offices.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both local and professional contexts.
- Preferred: Prior experience or a strong interest in cyber fraud, white-collar crime, or IT Law.
- Must be registered with the State Bar Council and the local Bar Association.
