Details of the Job/Internship
Vakil Support is hiring a Junior Advocate with 4-5 years of post-qualification experience to join The Law Chambers of M.D. Khan in Chennai. The role involves court appearances, presenting legal arguments, drafting and filing legal documents, and collaborating with senior advocates on complex matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Appear diligently in all courts and tribunals.
- Present compelling and persuasive legal arguments.
- Handle trial cases and related proceedings.
- Draft petitions, applications, replies, and other legal documents.
- Manage the filing of legal documents in appropriate forums.
- Conduct legal research to support ongoing cases.
- Collaborate with senior advocates and team members.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and records.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice.
- Excellent advocacy and argumentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of civil and criminal procedure, evidence, and substantive laws.
- Exceptional legal drafting, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
- Only candidates based in Chennai are eligible.
- Freshers are not eligible to apply.
