Details of the Job/Internship

Zigsaw in Udaipur is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Advocate to join their team. As an Advocate, you will play a crucial role in providing legal counsel and support to their HR technology company. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal matters.
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
• Conduct legal research to gather evidence and prepare cases.
• Prepare and file legal documents, such as briefs, appeals, and contracts.
• Negotiate with opposing parties to reach settlements or agreements.
• Interview witnesses and gather testimonies to support cases.
• Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and interests in legal settings.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals, such as attorneys and paralegals, to work on cases.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and meetings on behalf of clients.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards in legal practice.
• Provide legal education and guidance to clients and the community.
• Manage case files and documentation effectively.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal contracts and agreements.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field.
• Licensure to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven experience as an advocate or a practicing attorney.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice.
