Details of the Job/Internship
Dr Lal PathLabs is hiring an AGM - Legal with 13–14+ years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Litigation & Dispute Management: Oversee all civil, criminal, and regulatory matters; maintain a comprehensive litigation tracker for senior management.
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes to identify gaps and develop robust SOPs for a centralized Legal Department.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide counsel on IPR, medico-legal issues, labour laws, and arbitration.
- Healthcare Compliance: Ensure adherence to PCPNDT licenses, Biomedical Waste protocols, EHS regulations, and laboratory-specific state/national licenses.
- Notice & Conflict Resolution: Draft and review legal notices and manage responses to disputes raised by internal business units.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential legal risks in business strategies and lead internal investigations.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage the external panel of advocates and coordinate with cross-functional teams for laboratory setups.
Eligibility
- LLB or LLM from a recognized institution.
- 13–14+ years of relevant experience.
- Industry Preference: Healthcare, Diagnostics, Consumer Durables, Retail, or Big 4 legal consultancy.
- Expert knowledge of the Companies Act and diagnostic/laboratory compliance.
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and external counsel.
