Associated Broadcasting Company Pvt Ltd is hiring a AGM-Legal to join them in Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and Vetting of all key Commercial Agreements: Licensing, Lease, HR, Intellectual Property, Channel Placement, Digital Services, NDA, Administrative, Consultancy, Marketing, Investment, Settlement, and MOUs.
- Developing and Implementing Effective Legal Correspondence Strategies.
- Collaborating with External Counsel on all aspects of litigation, including pre-litigation assessment, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
- Managing the Legal Database: Maintaining accurate records of all contracts, legal notices, and litigation cases. Generating regular reports and analyses for management, the Board of Directors, and relevant committee.
- Liaisoning with regulatory authorities.
- Providing legal advice to editorial, production, and HR teams on issues affecting - content creation, employee relations, and company policies.
- Identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them to ensure protection of the company's interests and reputation.
Eligibility
- Bachelors Degree in Law from a Premier Institute.
- Prior experience working in the Legal Department of a reputable company.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and make sound legal decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Strong expertise in Contractual Laws, with a particular focus on Media Laws, Intellectual Property Rights, and Defamation.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
