Details of the Job/Internship
Godrej Capital is hiring an AM – Corporate Legal to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Vet, negotiate, and close all vendor contracts, NDAs, and service level agreements.
- Vet, negotiate, and close funding and treasury contracts such as term loans, cash credit, and NCDs, including final sign-off before execution.
- Vet, negotiate, and close all strategic partnership contracts, including final execution sign-off.
- Provide opinions on applicable stamp duty for various contracts.
- Prepare and review customer documents for the wealth management business.
- Respond to super escalated customer complaints, including those directed to the regulator.
- Resolve general disputes such as brand abuse and non-contractual vendor behaviour.
- Review and approve marketing collaterals and customer communications as per SEBI guidelines.
- Conduct research on various topics on a need basis.
Eligibility
- Essential: LLB.
- Preferred: LLB plus CS.
- 5–7 years of experience in contract management or corporate legal teams; NBFC/BFSI experience preferred.
