Godrej was founded in 1897 by Ardeshir Godrej to help build India’s economic independence. A significant portion of our profits from our innovations was donated to India’s freedom movement. During the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918, they made the first soap from vegetable oil with no animal fat. Details of the Job/Internship

Godrej is hiring for the position of AM Corporate Litigation to join them in their Mumbai office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in managing litigations and disputes proceedings, including intellectual property litigation
• Coordinating with external legal counsels and internal stakeholders
• Drafting pleadings and notices, attending briefings and hearings
• Providing legal support for litigations and other dispute proceedings including pre-dispute work 
• Providing legal support to businesses on a wide range of legal, business and contractual interpretation issues. 
• Providing legal support for interactions with government, industry bodies and other external stakeholders 
• Facilitating knowledge management.
• Maintaining digital database and expense management. 
• Updating stakeholders on legal developments, new laws, judicial precedents, regulatory requirements and compliance issues. 

Eligibility

• LLB 
• 4 – 7 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth knowledge of civil, commercial, intellectual property and criminal litigation and alternate dispute resolution procedures. 
• Experience in managing litigations and disputes including contractual disputes, consumer complaints, vendor / customer disputes, labour and employment disputes, at different forums. 
• Superior advocacy skills, ability to effectively communicate and interface with all stakeholders, aptitude for practical negotiation, capability to think clearly under pressure.
• Good drafting and analytical skills, commercial acumen and time sensitivity.
• Team player and excellent collaborator.
• Having a strong desire to learn. 
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
