Details of the Job/Internship
TP is hiring an In-House Counsel with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to join their legal team. The role involves managing the end-to-end lifecycle of procurement contracts, providing legal advisory, negotiating contract terms, and supporting ongoing CLM tool activities.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end lifecycle of procurement contracts including drafting, vetting, negotiation of IT/software licensing agreements, MSAs, EULAs, NDAs, Statements of Work, and intercompany agreements.
- Provide general legal advisory and guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Identify contractual, commercial, and operational risks; provide inputs and mark-ups on contracts.
- Support ongoing CLM tool activities.
- Participate in discussions with internal teams, external counsels, and advisors throughout the contracting process.
- Lead contract management activities, analyze risks, and recommend resolutions.
- Advise various organizational functions on matters related to employees, vendors, and contracts.
- Participate in internal projects within the legal department and organization.
- Share best practices and knowledge with the legal team regularly.
Eligibility
- LLB degree.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an MNC as in-house counsel handling contract review and negotiation.
- Preferred experience working on a CLM tool.
- Expertise in Corporate and Commercial Laws including Company Law, Labor Laws, and Competition Act.
- Knowledge of Indian and international laws.
- Requires considerable maturity and professional judgment.
